What is Fitness Asset Manager (FAM)?
FAM is a web-based maintenance, repair and operations (ROM) software specifically designed for the fitness and recreation industry.
What does FAM do?
FAM allows you to track all your fitness equipment usage, maintenance and repair costs, as well as keeping track of equipment location for the multi-club organization.
Won't a spreadsheet work just as well as FAM?
No. Since FAM is web-based you have access to your information from any computer twenty-four hours a day, seven days per week. FAM is designed to do more than calculations and simple lists; it is specifically designed to track all your fitness assets. And unlike a spreadsheet, multiple users can use FAM at the same time.
I have multiple facilities with managers, regional manager and other executive staff how does FAM address this issue?
FAM was designed with the multi-site organization in mind. Your system administrator can designate which sites that an employee can visit and make changes to your data.
How does FAM help me manage my repair needs?
FAM allows you to create work orders for equipment in need of repairs and can send the work order automatically to your preferred service vendor.
How does FAM help me manage my repair costs?
FAM keeps track of all repair tickets and expenses for each piece of equipment in your inventory. By utilizing FAM, you will be better able to track expenses and identify repair trends for all of your equipment.
How else does FAM help me manage equipment costs?
When you input your equipment into FAM, you or your staff will check warranty and/or service contract boxes and input ending dates for each. FAM will then notify you or your staff when the warranties or service contracts are about to expire.
How does FAM help me manage my facility?
FAM can be used as one of your management metrics and help you evaluate whether or not your personnel are taking care of your fitness assets. FAM generates reminders that go directly to your staff and your supervisors that FAM has not been visited by personnel over the past 10, 30, or 45 days.
What if I don't want my employees to make changes in FAM?
You simply assign Read Only rights and no changes can be made. Each employee can permission tailored to their specific role.
